The Nicola Valley’s landscape varies dramatically, from the wind-blasted cliffs of Windy Canyon near Merritt, to the glacial shore-lines of ancient lakes and the rolling grasslands lining the highway. Stop at Kekuli Café in Merritt for Aboriginal-inspired cuisine including fresh bannock and delicious organic fare-trade coffee. From Merritt continue north to Quaaout Lodge & Talking Rock Golf Course, overlooking 1,800 feet of sandy beachfront of Little Shuswap Lake in Chase BC.

Day 5 Golf, Spa, or Canoe Tour

Today choose between a day of golf at the Talking Rock Golf Course, a mature and a world-renowned course, or try a Hot Stone Massage or signature facial at Le7Ke (pronounced La’ka) Spa. The treatments are inspired by the healing herbs of the local people, using organic products infused with herbs such as sage and creating deep relaxation with heated river stones.

Or take a guided canoe tour from the Adams River along the shores of Shuswap Lake and enjoy the hospitality of the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band.

Enjoy a delectable dinner at Jack Sam’s Restaurant overlooking beautiful views of Little Shuswap Lake. The menu honours the First Nations traditions of the region and most of the food is sourced from local producers within a 100-mile radius.
