Take a two-hour stroll around the highlights of Vancouver’s sizzling street food scene. Enjoy a stunning floatplane ride over the islands to the Victoria harbour, with a visit to the Royal BC Museum. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Vancouver

Welcome to Vancouver, the traditional lands of the Coast Salish people. You will be met upon arrival and introduced to your driver who will transfer you by private sedan to your hotel in downtown Vancouver. The rest of the day is yours to create your own urban adventure amid the stores, parks, and restaurants of downtown Vancouver.

You may wish to visit the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art, a public gallery named after the acclaimed Haida artist, Bill Reid. The gallery showcases a permanent collection of his art, monumental works, and exquisite gold and silver jewellery, as well as changing exhibitions of Contemporary Aboriginal Art of the Northwest Coast.

Day 2 The World’s Best Food Truck Tour

Take a two-hour stroll around the highlights of Vancouver’s sizzling street food scene. Enjoy a delicious moveable feast as you walk the downtown core and sample the finest bites that Vancouver’s world-class gourmet street food has to offer.

This afternoon enjoy exploring on your own. Stroll down to the harborfront at Canada Place or consider a seawall walk in Stanley Park. If shopping is your thing head to trendy Robson Street to browse the many exclusive shops or Granville Island with its waterfront public market, artisan shops, eateries and art galleries.

Day 3 Vancouver to Victoria

Depart Vancouver harbour by seaplane for an exciting flight over the islands 
to beautiful Victoria. While you’re in Victoria, follow in our dinosaur footsteps or slide back in time to the Ice Age, into the life of a woolly mammoth. See how the fur trade touched and forever changed the lives of BC First Peoples at the Royal BC Museum.

Later in the day board a coach that will take you back to Vancouver. En route, enjoy a ferry ride across the Strait of Georgia.

Day 4 Talking Trees Tour-Stanley Park

Stanley Park is a cultural mecca and ecological wonder and the perfect place to enjoy a First Nations interpretive tour. Full of lore, ancient knowledge and rich history, each tree tells its own story. While on our Talking Trees Tour, your Talaysay guide will share the many stories of this region, as well as the intimate cultural and scientific knowledge of the Northwest coast trees and plants.

In the evening, consider a casual dinner at Salmon n’ Bannock Bistro, which features a menu of wild local fish, organic and free range meats, bannock and other culinary delights inspired by a variety of First Nations traditions.

Day 5 Whistler Exploring

Escape the city with a coach transfer along the famous Sea to Sky highway into the peaceful surroundings of Whistler’s mountains and quaint village.

Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the Whistler village. Consider travelling the breathtaking 4.4km span between the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

Day 6 Whistler Exploring

In the morning walk across the street to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. This unique museum features interactive exhibits, a theatre and contemporary galleries. You can explore the museum on your own or join a guided tour that includes the traditional dwellings of the Squamish and Lil’wat people, an interpretive cultural forest walk, and a keepsake craft.

Day 7 Whistler to YVR (Vancouver International Airport)

Transfer by scheduled bus from Whistler along the Sea to Sky highway to the Vancouver International Airport.
