BC Wildlife & Nature Viewing

Some of the incredible wildlife tours our members offer include BC whale watching tours and BC bear watching tours.

BC is a land of vast wilderness and an abundance of wildlife. Here the visitor can see an amazing array of BC wildlife in their natural habitat. BC grizzly bears and BC black bears, bald BC eagles, killer whales (orcas), salmon, deer, moose, elk and many more species live within this beautiful province.

Our tours offer breathtaking BC whale watching tours and BC bear watching tours. British Columbia is also home to the Kermode or 'Spirit Bear', a unique subspecies of the North American black bear which is white or cream-coloured. The mid-coast region of the province is the only place in the world where this species of bear can be found. The Tsimshian people call it "moskgm'ol," which means "white bear".

The First Nations of British Columbia have always considered the living creatures around them to be relations to be respected. Because of our relationship with the land and all within, our members offer a unique perspective to BC wildlife and nature tours. They not only introduce you to the wonderful nature around you, but also share with you how all that you see is interpreted within our culture, legends and traditions. Our members offer the opportunity for you to go on BC whale watching tours, view marine life, bears and bald BC eagles as well as enjoy interpretive forest and beach walking tours, all enhanced with interpretation from our unique cultural perspective.

Whether old or young, hearing creation stories of the BC Eagle and Bear, or knowing the story of the Salmon people leaves guests with a sense of wonder and increased respect for the surrounding nature. The memories of your aboriginal nature viewing experience will have a resonance not soon forgotten.
