Mascot Gold Mine Tours and Snaza’ist Discovery Centre

 

Mascot Gold Mine Tours and Snaza’ist Discovery Centre, located in Hedley, are operated by the Upper Similkameen Indian Band. In 2004, the historic Hedley School was transformed into a cultural interpretive centre. Home to Mascot Gold Mine Tours, the centre offers fascinating insight into the ancient tradition of mineral exploration. The centre provides captivating information about trade before European contact, and the cooperative relationship between settlers and First Nations. Visitors to the site can also take a guided underground tour of Mascot Gold Mine, perched at 3,000 vertical feet above the Similkameen Valley for an educational and fun trip into history.

If coming from Penticton take Hwy 97 - then turn right on Hwy 3A. In Keremeos continue on Hwy 3. We are located on the right hand side of the Hwy.
