Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre
The Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, in Duncan, British Columbia. Owned and operated by the Cowichan Band, the centre is located on 6 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds along the banks of the Cowichan River. The native heritage centre offers a truly unique experience, sharing the stories and traditions of the Cowichan people from hundreds of years ago. The Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre offers an authentic First Nations experience, including interpretive tours, traditional art work, salmon barbeques for pre-booked groups, displays and live demonstrations, and performances by the Khowutzun Tzinquaw Dancers July thru August. The Centre also features the Riverwalk Cafe, a riverside summer seasonal restaurant that serves delicious native cuisine. Other highlights onsite include the knits museum and Gift Shop.
