Sharon Bond

Sharon Bond is the owner of Kekuli Aboriginal Foods (aka Kekuli Cafe) in Westbank, British Columbia. Kekuli has been in operation for almost two years and has won the Westbank Chamber of Commerce Award for Aboriginal Business of the Year. Kekuli has also been featured in Okanagan Life Magazine as Editors Choice for restaurants in the Okanagan.

Sharon won Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2010 from ANTCO in Kamloops BC and the 2010 BC Achievement Award for 10 or more employees in a business. She plans to franchise Kekuli throughout Canada in order to share Aboriginal cuisine all across the country.

Sharon believes that First Nations have traditions and culture that need to be shared. First Nations do not want to be remembered as Hollywood Indians, but as a culture that is strong and proud. Sharon brings passion, perseverance and patience to the AtBC Board to help educate the world about what we have to offer here in British Columbia.
