AtBC is providing the following information for AtBC stakeholders who are considering a Board Member application during the upcoming AtBC Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held Wednesday, November 16, 2011

• Wade Grant – Vancouver Coast & Mountain Region
• Sharon Bond - Thompson Okanagan
• Geraldine Thomas Flurer – Northern BC
• Lori Simcox – At Large
• Gloria Valencia – At Large

• Vancouver Island – Currently held by Lillian Hunt
• Kootenay Rockies – Currently held by Sophie Pierre
• Cariboo Chilcotin – Currently held by Douglas Green
• 4 At Large positions – Currently held by George Taylor, Richard Krentz, Dorothy Grant, and Bill Helin 

It is important to note that a candidate must provide the following requirements:

• Is a Voting Stakeholder in good standing
• Must represent a Market-Ready tourism business
• Has submitted a duly completed AtBC Board of Directors application package
• Has two (2) letters of support from an organization that is familiar with the candidate’s credentials.
• Has the ability to commit up to 6 hours per month to activities related to participating on the AtBC Board of Directors
