Traditional Sto:lo and historic military welcome to the travelers as they arrive in Chilliwack by boat.
Attended by Lieutenant Governor Steven Point and guests.

2:00-5:00pm Historic Celebrations
Community welcoming. Historic military displays and presentations. Traditional First Nations dances, crafts and food. Free CAMO Face Painting by military volunteers. Lots of fun for the kids including free Make and Take Medicine Bag and First Nation story-telling. Artists and carvers on site.

3:00pm Coqualeetza Story Exhibit Opens
The Museum celebrates completion of its interior renovation with a new exhibit.

7:30pm Up the Creek Without a Paddle An entertaining and comical look at life around Chilliwack at the founding of BC in 1858.

5:00pm Salmon BBQ Feast

Hosted by Hereditary Chief Frank Malloway (Siyemches). Traditional First Nations event with feast, table and feast songs. Special guests include Kwakwakawakw dancers.

Tickets for this event are $10, available at the Sto:lo Artisan Centre and Chilliwack Arts Centre ticket office.
