Lytton River Festival
Upcoming Dates: Friday, August 29 - Sunday, August 31, 2008
The Lytton River Festival is a celebration of two great rivers-the Thompson and Fraser-and their historic and present role in the small community of Lytton.
The Village of Lytton, Siska Indian Band, Nicomen Indian Band, Lytton First Nations, Lytton & District Chamber of Commerce, Royal Canadian Legion, and Kumsheen Rafting Resort host this river-oriented, fun-filled three-day river celebration.
Activites include a mini-pow wow, a First Nation inspired festival dinner, gold panning, children's crafts and face painting, kayaking, fireworks, and live entertainment featuring a performance by St'at'imc Nation blues artist George Leach. Don't miss it!
See festival website for a detailed event schedule and directions to the festival grounds.
