The Thornton Motel

The Thornton Motel was purchased by the Ucluelet First Nation through its economic development sector and has been First Nation owned and operated since June 2007. The 16-room motel is located at 1861 Peninsula Road in the beautiful town of Ucluelet, close to world-famous Pacific Rim National Park. We are minutes away from all restaurants, shops, docksides, and popular locations such as the Wild Pacific Trail, Little Beach, and Big Beach. Our spacious standard and kitchenette rooms feature full bath and shower, secure wireless internet access, cable television, direct dial phones with free local calling, and two double or queen size beds. If you are travelling with extended family or friends, our full-size kitchen units have enough room to sleep six. Our warm and friendly service will ensure that you have a great time during your stay.

Location/Driving Instructions
Travel along Highway 4 from Port Alberni to the Ucluelet/Tofino junction. Take a left at this intersection and drive along the Pacific Rim Highway until you reach the town of Ucluelet. The Thornton Motel is located on the left hand side and is situated approximately half way through town (just past the Peoples Drug Mart).
