Sto:lo Artisan Centre

Kwexwi:lem! (Come In!) Over 55 First Nations artists create a unique and diverse selection of handcrafted high-quality native artworks. Buyers and collectors will be pleased with the cultural diversity and range of works available, including masks, paddles, carved boxes, paintings, prints, Salish weavings, hand-made silver jewellery, pottery, beadwork, and native music. The Sto:lo Artisan Centre’s mandate is to create a venue for Aboriginal artisans and entrepreneurs to showcase their artworks. The centre hosts special events and promotes their juried products and services. We take custom orders, for larger items such as house posts, totem poles, canoes, and paddles. 

Special Collection in 2008
Collection of Sto:lo artifacts on loan from community members, as well as donated artifacts, and Stone T'xwelatse on site until October 2008. Stone T'xwelatse will be provided a new home at Stehiyaq, a new healing & wellness centre, in the Ts'elxweyeqw lands where he was transformed by Xa:ls.

Location/Driving Instructions
100 km east from Vancouver, BC. Take Chilliwack exit #119A, Sardis/Vedder. South on Vedder road to Promontory. Left on Promontory, Vedder crossing Plaza, right in front of Save on Foods, next to the Tzeachten First Nation Community Hall.
