Trailblazer Cultural Interpretation Training

Aboriginal Tourism is one of the fastest growing opportunities in Career and Business Development. Aboriginal Tourism Association of BC is pleased to offer Trailblazers training to prepare individuals and communities to welcome the world in the Aboriginal Pavilion for 2010 and beyond through the tourism industry.

Individuals of All ages make Great Tourism Trailblazers

Upon completion of this training, trainees will have the skills to begin, or further their career in the Tourism Industry with:

3 Transferable Credits in Special Events Management from NEC
Certification in FirstHost
Certification in SuperHost Fundamentals
Certification in First Aid with Transportation Endorsement
Knowledge of Inter-Cultural Awareness
Knowledge of Aboriginal Tourism Awareness
Knowledge of Tourism Visitor Information Awareness
Additional Skill Development will be at the Aboriginal Pavilion

Qualifications:

Knowledge and interest in Aboriginal Culture
Communication skills
Experience and/or interest in tourism
